Member List
The most tedious part of running a tournament is creating the entry sheet.
Once you register them in the member list, you can avoid having to enter their details next time.
The member list comes with about 50 preset members based on themes such as animals and occupations, so if you're planning a casual tournament, you can get started right away without having to register as a member.

Player placement can also be randomized with the press of a button.
Of course, manual placement is also possible.

The circles at the bottom of the page represent courts, with ○ indicating unused courts and ● indicating courts in use.
Tapping ○ will assign a match to that court, and tapping ● will allow you to enter the result or cancel the match.
Press the "A" button at the bottom right of the page to automatically allocate available match cards to all available courts.
There can be a maximum of five courts, but if, for example, there are only three courts and only three matches can be played at the same time, you can press and hold the green and orange circles to disable them and the matches will be automatically assigned to the three courts.

Although it is called a tournament, it is not that simple.
A typical tournament is called single elimination, but some sports such as billiards use a double elimination system, where the tournament ends after two losses.
There are two types of double elimination: full double elimination, in which there is a playoff if a player loses the final match, and simplified double elimination, in which there is no playoff.
There may be cases where handicaps are imposed depending on the player's level, the preliminaries may be held in league format and the finals in a tournament format, and in that case there are many things that need to be decided, such as how many players from each league will advance and what to do in case of a tie.
There are also special measures in place for players who have seeded rights.
However, since it's unlikely that such an elaborate tournament would be held on a smartphone, Versus Pocket has deliberately eliminated detailed settings and instead kept it as simple as possible, allowing you to choose between single elimination (one loss means you're done), full double elimination (two losses means you're done), or league matches, and then just input the wins and losses.
The layout changes flexibly when you change the orientation of your device, and it also supports switching between light and dark modes.
